Toufic H. Kalil by Bulova — Architect Series Automatic

In 1955, Frank Lloyd Wright completed the Toufic H. Kalil house in Manchester, New Hampshire — one of his celebrated Usonian Automatic homes, built from interlocking concrete blocks that the owner could assemble himself. It was Wright's vision of democratic architecture: beauty made accessible without sacrificing integrity.
Bulova's tribute to that vision belongs on the wrist of a man who understands that the finest things carry a story.
Architecture You Can Wear
The dial is a masterwork of detail. The textured grey and green pattern evokes the Kalil house's forested surroundings and recreates its most iconic feature — the modular block construction and rows of rectangular windows — in miniature. Freeform apertures in the dial reveal the automatic heartbeat movement beneath, a nod to the home's own "Automatic" nickname.
- Genuine automatic mechanical movement — visible through the exhibition caseback
- Grey ion-plated stainless steel case — polished bezel, brushed finishing
- Sapphire crystal — scratch-resistant, museum-quality clarity
- Exhibition caseback — engraved with the house name, an image of the open blocks, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation logo
For the Man Who Reads Between the Lines
This is not a watch for everyone — and that's precisely the point. The Kalil Automatic rewards the man who notices things others miss: the texture of a dial, the story behind a design, the difference between wearing a watch and wearing a statement.
